To have the best chance of making a difference, Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LI-CBT) requires regular attendance at sessions.

I’m a Parent/Carer

Are you a parent/carer seeking support for a young person?

  • This form must be completed to enable you to request support for your child/young person from Young Somerset’s Children’s Wellbeing Service.
  • To access support they must be under 18 (or 25 if they have an EHCP).

I’m a Professional

Are you a professional seeking support for a Young Person?

  • Professionals – GP / Social Worker / PFSA please read our criteria here before requesting wellbeing support. If you think the young person you are referring is suitable for our service after reading this, please click the form below to request wellbeing support.
  • School Staff – please check, if your school is an MHST school you will have to refer via your mental health lead. After checking, if your school is not an MHST school please complete our request for support form below.

MHST Schools

This service is accessible via a request for help through the school’s Designated Mental Health Lead. If you are a young person/parent/carer and you are interested in receiving support, you can talk to someone at school about this.
